No. 5 King Street wins Town Planning Award

The project to restore No.5 King Street has won an award from the Royal Town Planning Institute. The project, undertaken on behalf of Melton Borough Council, was funded by a major grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund as well as receiving grants from English Heritage, local community groups and funding from the Council.

The building dates from the 13th Century and contains a crown-post roof structure.
